When we got our first DJI drone, which was a DJI Spark in 2017 (still one of our favourites!), we struggled with finding reasonably priced accessories available actually in Australia, and any one business that had all the bits and pieces we wanted (needed!) to be able to get the most of our new little drone.
Our search for products lead us to both local and overseas suppliers to source product – and where we started with about 15 products, we now stock well over 100 different products to suit the full range of ‘consumer’ drones from DJI – ranging from sunhoods and screen covers, through to genuine DJI batteries and controllers.
To date, we have kept our business focused on the ‘things’ that go WITH the drones, rather than the drones themselves. Plenty of people sell drones – very few of them sell the accessories you need to go with them.
As drone pilots ourselves, we test each product we bring in – if it isn’t something we think will work well, we simply don’t bring it in. There are products we get asked for that we don’t bring in – for example, generic propellers – where we have seen too many issues with stability. We don’t want our products to cause issues for our customers.
One of our directors, Frank, is also an ReOC holder operating under Up High Drone Services – and we provide advise and guidance daily on which drone might suit best, or where we can help people understand the rules and regs of drone flying relevant to what they are doing. Most of our flying these days though is as a hobby, or for community events – aimed at sharing what drones do, and sharing footage that may not get seen otherwise.
So – whichever DJI drone you are flying, whether that be the DJI Mavic Mini, DJI Mini 2, DJI Mini SE, DJI Mavic Air 2, DJI Air 2s, DJI Mavic Air, DJI Mavic Pro or the DJI Mavic 3, DJI Mavic 2 Zoom or DJI Mavic 2 Pro – we have a full range of accessories available for your drone!
